Altered Target Mailboxes

Just getting over yet another cold :P.

Been super artistically inspired lately. I have been doing quite a bit of writing lately as well as some altered paper craft stuff!! Check out the pics! Sorry if they are blurry...my real camera is still in the shop :P Oh how I miss it!!!
Michael and I took a ride to Rising Sun today. It was a beautiful day!!! Rising Sun never disapoints. :D There is this sweet little antique shop that we love to go to. Rising Sun also has a great Harp shop. We would love to get a harp, but $1500 for a basic model is not in the budget :D It's just fun too look!!!
Bye for now!

All About the Keys!

Keys, originally uploaded by Look at my photos.

Question of the day!

Why would you hire someone to be a teacher at your school whom you do not trust with a key to the building? Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmm!

Yard Sale Finds

A beautiful Saturday! It is warm and sunny! We slept in and then decided to head out for breakfast. Frisch's Big Boy Breakfast Buffet was our meal of choice! So bad for you but OH SO GOOD!!!

Michael has been wanting a guitar for quite a while. On his walk home yesturday, he saw one for only $20 at a yard sale just down the street! We went back this morning after breakfast and the guitar was still there! Oh the joy! So we bought it! Michael is very happy. As we drove home we saw serveral other signs for yard sales in the area! CHA-CHING! In total we went to 8 yard sales. Michael bought about $300 worth of LEGGOs for about $5. I purchased some dishes and a cool piece of cloth! Yahoooo! Another person's trash is our treasure!!!

Trying a new recipe inspired by our class cooking project. On Thursday we made Apple Sauce! It was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good! So I am making some apple sauce pie on a graham cracker crust. :D The apples are cooking in the crock pot the smell is incredible! Yummy!!!!

Weddings

Things at my new job have been going rather well. It's not bad...but it's not terrific either. Positive attitude!!! I've had to help several children change after accidents! :D Part of the job!
In GREAT and INTERESTING NEWS! Michael asked me what cut of stone I would like for my ring. The funny thing is I don't know. I kinda feel guility because I don't want him to think that I want a huge, fancy ring. I'm not a big jewerly person. I would be happy with whatever he chose. :D I would even like a nice band that has LOVE engraved all around it. I'm not a fussy person.
I talked to my Mom last night. She was making roses for my brother's wedding cake. She told me that this wedding is going to be casual!!! Next Friday I am flying to NJ and meeting up with Michael. Then Michael and I are driving up to Vermont. We are leaving at 4 am so we can be at my parent's house by 10:00am. I'm excited!!! I love my family! I'm so glad my brother is marrying Davina! We like her a lot. She has been sooooo good for him!!! :D
Michael's sister has set a tentitive date for her wedding. In late June. Weddings are soo exciting!!!
Going to the library!!
Ciao for now!

Thoughts

I've been attending the Vineyard church for over a year now. I really feel at home there. It is a mega church, yet there is something different about!!!! I know God is the center of that place!!!
