Is it me or is everyone expecting a baby right now?

It seems that the stork is circling the schools where I work. Everyone is expecting, except me and the 6 or so men who work there. Ok...I may be exaggerating a little, but it seems that a baby bump is the new style statement at work. Some people are even joking that it must "be in the water". I laugh, but I long for it to be me.

I have been reading "What to Expect Before Your Expecting". Very informative and overwhelming. All the things you have to think about would make anybody dizzy. We are not actively trying. To be honest the whole idea scares me. While I really long to be a mommy, I fear trying and failing. Does that make any sense? By not trying, I don't get hurt or disappointed. On the flip side you can't win the game if you are not playing.

My yummy breakfast made me happy today. I love oatmeal with bananas! Soooo yummy and so comforting!

  1. There is nothing to be afraid of. You will love having a baby...come on girl...go for it:)

  2. I totally know how you are feeling because it was how I felt just before we started trying. But it's true, you just have to go for it! It is SO worth it in the end :)

  3. I'm with's worth it in the end. :)
